The Business Analyst will primarily be responsible for capturing requirements, clarifying interfaces, producing documentation, and stakeholder management to support the project in adopting new ways of working. Construction industry experience is essential for this role.

Role Responsibilities- Capture business requirements, review existing documentation, identify interfaces, and support updating/producing relevant documentation;
- Facilitate workshops and meetings, encouraging debate and collaboration;
- Work closely with various teams, including software deployment teams, to translate requirements and ensure delivery;
- Act as the liaison between business owners and stakeholders;
- Test and verify that outputs meet requirements before delivery;
- Coordinate with project owners to produce an agreed delivery plan;
- Support development of dashboards and reports with business owners;
- Handle reporting and analysis requests from the business. The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in Business Analysis within the construction industry;
- LEAN Management Skills, Six Sigma certification;
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
- Self-starter with the ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently;
- Proficiency in Power BI;
- Experience with Cloud services, especially Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS);
- Knowledge of financial reporting.
This role involves working on the HS2 project, the UK's new high-speed rail network, which aims to boost economic growth and connect major cities efficiently.
