Program Manager working within the Strategic Projects function for PCI Pharma Services (Ireland Sites). Responsible for managing a large-scale programme consisting of several projects with varying complexity.
Responsibilities- Manage a high-performing team to deliver large-scale, high-value programmes consisting of multiple sub-projects.
- Communicate regularly with area managers and stakeholders to provide programme status, risk, and success updates.
- Provide best-in-class service to customers, representing PCI in all engagements including on-site project reviews and steering meetings.
- Work closely with the Programme sponsor and cross functional teams to define programme strategy, scope, and objectives.
- Set milestone targets and coordinate resources to ensure appropriate capacity and task delegation.
- Compile and manage project timelines to ensure on time delivery and monitor critical paths.
- Promote engagement at all levels, encouraging contribution and illustrating benefits.
- Manage budgets, report regularly on CapEx status, and realise benefits.
- Prioritise delivery for PCI's global client base with a focus on quality, Right First Time (RFT), and On Time in Full (OTIF).
- Identify, assess, and control programme risks throughout the lifecycle.
- Manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) process according to company procedures and policies.
- Report programme overall health to the Ireland SLT, focusing on goals, objectives, and major concerns (escalations).
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities and harmonise methods with PCI Global sites.
- Provide leadership from concept to handover, leading by example in day-to-day project management.
- Document and report programme activity using the toolkits provided by management.
- Manage change, ensure site procedures are followed and raise change controls with relevant approvers.
- Create and sustain a working environment that promotes PCI Values and Behaviours.
- Adhere to company SOPs, Health & Safety, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines for themselves and team members and contractors.
- Maintain capital project budgets and report status to the Site Leadership Team.
- Assume indirect people management responsibilities for assigned project team members.
- Travel occasionally on company business (vendors, suppliers, or customers).
