Job Description
About the Opportunity The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM), operating under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is accepting applications for its Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Internship Program. This program supports the objectives of India's National IPR Policy by fostering awareness, encouraging research, and developing skilled professionals in the IP domain. Eligibility The program is open to the following candidates: 
- Students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in Law, Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Research scholars with a keen interest in IPR
- Young professionals seeking practical exposure to intellectual property systems
- Short-term: 45 days
- Mid-term: Up to 6 months
- Long-term: Up to 12 months
- To provide hands-on experience in IP administration
- To deepen understanding of IP laws, procedures, and regulations
- To promote research in the field of Intellectual Property, aligned with national policy goals
- Updated CV or Resume
- Statement of Purpose (max 500 words)
- Letter of Recommendation or No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the institution (for students/research scholars)
- Proof of current enrollment (if applicable)
