This role provides specialist technical investment management insight, representing the CIO and Director of Portfolio Management, to support the successful launch of the Polaris Multi Index Fund range.

As Investment Lead you will support development of technical details (including analysis of seeding mechanics, the design of underlying indices, and how both are communicated to the Partnership) and to oversee the development of investment management 'educational-aides' whilst working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to promote a clear understanding of the features, purpose and differentiating factors of the Polaris Multi Index range as a core development of the SJP Investment Proposition.

What you'll be doing:
  • Responsible for leading on the successful launch of the Polaris Multi Index in H2 2025, a key initiative in the 2030 SJP strategy.
  • Responsible for ensuring that ahead of launch, key internal (e.g. GEC and Investment Management helpdesk) and external (e.g. SJP Adviser network and media where possible) stakeholders are fully briefed on the key features of the Polaris Multi Index range.
  • Responsible for leading on providing input and quality control of technical investment detail which drives the SJP's narrative/supporting materials for the Polaris Multi-Index Fund range liaising with stakeholders.
  • Work with external fund managers to generate thought leadership which helps to educate the Partnership on the Polaris Multi-Index Fund range.
  • Responsible for representing and coordinating SJP Investment SMEs to resolve both internal and external technical challenges/queries that arise in the run up to launch.
  • Where possible, responsible for conducting and publishing reports outlining the positioning of the 'Polaris brand', alongside other SJP multi-asset offerings, including whether there are any gaps.
  • Where possible, work with key stakeholders to identify options to increase the value, clarity and messaging of the InRetirement multi asset range.
Who we're looking for:
  • In-depth understanding of investment products, strategies, and themes, in particular multi-asset funds.
  • Experience in financial services in the investment or asset management sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial advisor and client needs.
  • Ability to create compelling and impactful presentation narratives using PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Passion for investments and a solid understanding of financial markets and willingness to develop further.
  • Knowledge of portfolio construction would be desirable
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA or equivalent desirable
Special Requirements:

Travel to London/Cirencester and other SJP offices and venues on a regular basis will be necessary to meet with key stakeholders, Partners, and clients.
