Job Description

Our Treasury team are looking to hire an experienced Investment and Treasury Analyst. This role will role will be based predominantly on the investment side helping to account, manage and assess the various investments that Antares hold, ranging from Fixed income through to derivative products. If successful you will help shape the investment decisions and will have strong interaction with the QIC Asset management team based in Doha. You will also have strong interaction with the treasury team and help ensure that liquidity is moved from the less liquid holdings as and when required whilst keeping an eye on our 3 key principles; Capital preservation, yield generation and liquidity. There are restrictions and regulations around the investment process therefore there is a fair amount of monitoring, analysis and reporting around the composition of the portfolios.

Knowledge and Experience
  • University degree or A-levels in accounting.
  • Organised and able to use own initiative to develop and communicate ideas
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills as well as excel literacy
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and spoken, with high attention to detail
  • Flexible and proactive with tasks and responsibilities
Day to Day Duties Include
  • Carry out investment reconciliations and assist with the preparation of cash and investments schedules for month/quarter end reporting.
  • Assist in preparation of various underlying investment reports for committees.
  • Assisting in regulatory reporting for investment related matters in various jurisdiction both UK and overseas
  • Maintain the signatory mandates for cash and investments as well as any 'KYC' requests.
  • Understand and provide support from time to time for Treasury; including maintenance of daily multi- currency/multi-account cash book, ensuring that company's cash flow allows it to operate effectively. Liaising with banks and fund managers for redemptions / subscriptions if necessary.
  • Understand and provide support from time to time for Treasury; including the preparation of weekly cash analysis to determine the cash position of each entity.
  • Carry out day to day administration duties including filing, scanning, telephone enquiries etc.
  • Respond to audit queries in relation to investments
  • Constantly seeks to improve practices and procedures within own area of responsibility, ensuring the maintenance of an effective control environment.
