Investment Advisor

Job Purpose

We are seeking an Adviser or Trainee Adviser to join our specialist private client investment management team in our London office. The Investment Portfolios team provides restricted advice and invests clients into one of five in house multi asset, risk rated funds. We welcome applications from people at different stages in their careers and are happy to provide training and development for the right candidate.

This role offers the opportunity to gain meaningful hands on experience while completing courses, sitting exams, and working toward the qualifications needed for a career in private client investment management.

You will play an important role in supporting and advising clients, with your responsibilities evolving as your skills and confidence grow.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Provide day to day support to clients, including suitability reviews, account openings, engagement letters, amendments, closures, post handling, and payment instructions.
• Deliver ongoing relationship management to clients who do not have a dedicated Charles Stanley Investment Manager.
• Contribute to the improvement, automation, and development of systems and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ideally educated to degree level, or with a minimum of two years' experience in the investment industry.
• Strong academic background (A and B grades at A level or equivalent) with GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• CISI Investment Advice Diploma (Level 4) is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in financial services is beneficial but not required.
• A genuine interest in investment management and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
