Inventory Manager

This role leads inventory planning and stock accuracy across a regional retail network. It combines strategic buying oversight with hands-on inventory control, working closely with teams like Product, IT, Retail, and Supply Chain to optimise availability, reduce shrink, and ensure operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive forecasting, replenishment, and buying strategy across stores
• Manage vendor relationships and support store openings
• Oversee inventory integrity using RFID tools and systems
• Lead variance investigations and compliance audits
• Train store teams on inventory processes and best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally on stock control, pricing, and planning
• Provide insights for inventory budgeting and policy improvements

Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
• 3-5+ years in inventory, retail buying, or stock control
• Proficiency with ERP, RFID (e.g., Detego, Becosoft), and Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of European retail standards is a plus
• Some local travel will be required (limited)
• Flexibility required during audits and seasonal peaks
