Responsibilities- Ensure robust inventory control across the factory, maintaining accurate alignment between physical stock and ERP/WMS records.
- Lead and support stock reconciliation activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly counts, identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Utilise Excel based tools and data analysis (pivot tables, lookup functions, tracking dashboards) to monitor inventory accuracy and highlight trends or risks.
- Identify and drive improvements in inventory systems and processes, both within the site and across multiple sites, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, reducing operational risk and supporting financial integrity.
- Analyse data of varying complexity, applying structured problem solving methods to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to achieve shared goals and ensure alignment on inventory processes and improvements.
- Contribute to maintaining strong inventory controls, audit readiness, and compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
- Operate heavy machinery from time to time, with training provided.
- Proficient in Excel, including lookup functions (e.g., VLOOKUP), pivot tables, and creating, editing, and maintaining macros.
- Driven to continuously learn and develop experience in materials management and inventory control.
- Clear and concise communicator, able to work effectively across multiple functions within the organisation.
- Partner with cross functional team members to deliver on key priorities and drive results.
- Knowledge or experience with lean manufacturing principles, applying them to improve processes and eliminate waste.
- Strong presentation skills, communicating information clearly and concisely.
- Support budget and financial performance analysis.
- Previous experience operating forklifts beneficial but not required.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of related experience.
