Job Description
Responsibilities 
- You will ensure robust inventory control across the factory, maintaining accurate alignment between physical stock and ERP/WMS records.
- You will lead and support stock reconciliation activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly counts, ensuring discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- You will utilise Excel-based tools and data analysis (e.g. pivot tables, lookup functions, tracking dashboards) to monitor inventory accuracy and highlight trends or risks.
- You will identify and drive improvements in inventory systems and processes, both within the site and across multiple sites, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- You will proactively identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, reducing operational risk and supporting financial integrity.
- You will analyse data of varying complexity, applying structured problem solving methods to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- You will work closely with cross functional teams to achieve shared goals and ensure alignment on inventory processes and improvements.
- You will contribute to maintaining strong inventory controls, audit readiness, and compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
- You may be required, from time to time, to operate heavy machinery; training will be provided.
- You are proficient in Excel, including lookup functions (e.g. VLOOKUP), pivot tables, and creating, editing, and maintaining macros.
- You are driven to continuously learn and develop your experience in materials management and inventory control.
- You are a clear and concise communicator, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions within the organisation.
- You are able to partner with cross functional team members to deliver on key priorities and drive results.
- You have knowledge of or experience with lean manufacturing principles and apply them to improve processes and eliminate waste.
- You demonstrate strong presentation skills, communicating information clearly and concisely.
- You support budget and financial performance analysis.
- You have previous experience operating forklifts would be beneficial but not required.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 5 years of related experience.
