Intune Transformation Lead - Banking
£545 per day - Inside IR35
Sheffield (3 days per week onsite - mandatory)

My client seeking an experienced Intune Transformation Lead to drive the move from traditional desktop management technologies to a modern, cloud-native endpoint management model. This role will be responsible for defining and delivering the modern management strategy, leveraging technologies including Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft 365, Defender for Endpoint, and Zero Trust security principles. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong programme leadership capabilities, leading enterprise-wide transformation across a global desktop estate.

The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong programme leadership capabilities, leading enterprise-wide transformation across a global desktop estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise roadmap for Modern Management across a large global endpoint estate.
- Lead the migration from Legacy endpoint management platforms such as SCCM/MECM, Group Policy and traditional imaging solutions to Microsoft Intune.
- Develop transformation strategies, target operating models, business cases and migration plans.
- Act as the technical authority for Microsoft Intune and Modern Workplace technologies across physical and virtual desktop environments.
- Establish standards for device provisioning, Windows Autopilot, application deployment, endpoint security, compliance, configuration management and patching.
- Lead global delivery teams, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement, RAID management and executive reporting.
- Drive collaboration across Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, Risk, Compliance and Workplace Technology functions.
- Implement and embed Zero Trust principles across the endpoint management landscape.
- Manage third-party vendors and technology partners supporting the transformation programme.
- Oversee adoption, change management, operational readiness and transition into BAU support models.
- Develop KPI frameworks and service metrics to measure adoption, security, compliance and user experience improvements.
