About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and highly respected distributor within the industrial process and flow control sector, is seeking a motivated Internal Technical Sales professional to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical sales environment and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the external sales team, managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring efficient order processing from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to internal sales enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
• Prepare detailed quotations and tender submissions
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and technical information
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage stock ordering when required
• Follow up on existing quotations to help convert opportunities into sales
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Participate in ongoing product training to maintain technical knowledge
• Work towards achieving monthly KPIs and sales targets

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working with valves and actuation products is essential
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with ERP systems advantageous)
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills
