Interim Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Interim Operations Manager to provide operational and hands on leadership across a portfolio of services supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. This role is critical in ensuring continuity, stability, and excellence in service delivery during a period of organisational transition.

The successful candidate will bring a strong track record in multi site management within specialist care settings, combined with the ability to lead teams, drive quality, and maintain full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight and leadership across multiple services
• Ensure full compliance with CQC requirements and internal governance frameworks
• Monitor service performance, quality indicators, and safeguarding practices
• Lead and support initiatives, embedding best practice across all sites
• Build and maintain effective relationships with commissioners, families, and external stakeholders
• Uphold a person centred approach that promotes independence, dignity, and positive outcomes

Candidate Profile

• Significant experience in operational leadership within learning disability or specialist care environments
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations, quality standards, and safeguarding frameworks
• Proven ability to lead teams through change with clarity, professionalism, and resilience
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and deliver results at pace

6 month interim assignment
