Job Description
What You'll Be Doing Leading High-Performing Teams 
- Inspire, develop and lead a team of c.25 across AP, Billing, AR and Credit Control.
- Create a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build capability within the team through coaching, development and succession planning.
- Confidently manage both upwards and downwards, influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Take responsibility for the full Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash lifecycle.
- Ensure robust controls, compliance and governance across all transactional finance activities.
- Drive improvements in cash collection, aged debt management and working capital performance.
- Oversee complex billing processes across multiple products, entities, contracts and customer types.
- Build strong relationships with operational, commercial, finance and supplier stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and optimise processes across AP, Billing and AR.
- Lead system enhancements, process redesign and digital transformation initiatives.
- Champion the use of technology, automation and AI to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort and enhance both the customer and colleague experience.
- Leverage data and insights to improve decision-making, controls and operational performance.
Essential Experience
- Significant leadership experience within Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Credit Control or Transactional Finance.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end AP, AR and Billing functions.
- Experience operating within multi-site, multi-entity, high-volume environments with complex billing structures.
- Strong understanding of:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Credit Control
- Working Capital Management
- Cashflow Management
- Financial Controls & Compliance
- Proven track record delivering transformation, automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience leading sizeable teams and driving performance through periods of change.

- Comfortable using data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
