Interim Head of Programmes - Strategy and Quality

About the Role Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon. The Interim Head of Programmes - Strategy and Quality supports the development of MAP's programme strategy and enhances the quality of work to achieve greater coherence and maximum impact in meeting needs.
About You The ideal candidate should have significant demonstrable experience in humanitarian/development work, including safeguarding. Significant project management experience at increasing levels of responsibility, including planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Experience in developing project concepts and proposals. Experience in managing programme staff. Experience in managing donor grants and project budgets.
