Interim Financial Controller

Distribution Group based in Havant, Hampshire has a requirement for an Interim Financial Controller for a 4-month period to undertake the day-to-day management of the finance function during a period of change and transition.

What will the Interim Financial Controller role involve?

Reporting to the Managing Director, the key responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller position will include:

• Preparation of all statutory returns and liaising with external auditors.
• Provision of monthly analysis and results providing insight on performance by product and division to aid business planning and strategic decision making.
• Production of monthly management accounts, overseeing the annual budgeting process and associated monthly reforecasting providing commentary on any variances.
• Ensure that all internal controls and processes are in line with group standards and external requirements.

• Applicants for the position will be available on short notice and have previous experience of working with a similar position within an SME environment.
• Detail orientated with the ability to see and understand the strategic direction and larger corporate picture.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non-finance individuals at all levels across various departments within the business.

Additional benefits and information for the role of Interim Financial Controller: The role will be office based and the expected duration of the assignment will be four months. Daily rate will be dependent on experience.
