Financial Controller
6-month contract Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) Central London (Goodge Street)

About the role
As Financial Controller, you ll be overseeing controls, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring the organisation remains in good place financially across its two entities.
You ll play a key role in:
- Producing accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Leading cash flow management and ensuring liquidity
- Supporting strategic planning through budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinating smooth and timely audit processes
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities and trends
- Guiding and mentoring a dedicated finance team
About you
To thrive here you ll need to be:
- A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) essential
- Confident in interpreting and presenting financial statements
- Highly analytical, detail-focused, and comfortable making sense of complex data
- Experienced in financial control, reporting, and cash management ideally in higher education or a similar sector
- A collaborative leader with excellent communication skills
- Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
- Central London location with excellent transport links
