Interim Finance Officer - Service Charge

Do you have hands-on experience with service charges in the housing sector? Are you confident handling large financial datasets in Excel? Ready to add value in a focused, fully remote contract role?

Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a well-known Housing Association in the West Midlands to recruit an interim Finance Officer (Service Charges) on a three-month contract. This is a fully remote opportunity offering immediate impact in a key area of the finance function. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate service charge management across multiple schemes, supporting year-end accounts, rent reviews, and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and code service charge transactions with precision
  • Prepare, calculate, and review service charge estimates and actuals
  • Reconcile data across housing and finance systems
  • Respond promptly to internal service charge queries
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
