Interim Finance Manager

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will take full responsibility for overseeing the finance function, with a particular focus on AP/AR, payroll, balance sheet preparation for audit, and financial reporting. A comprehensive handover will be provided, with the outgoing postholder available for support in the first weeks.

We're supporting a well-established, creative professional services business in Maidenhead, who are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide oversight and stability during a handover and upcoming audit period. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to step into a hands-on, autonomous role within a creative and fast-paced environment.
Description
- Oversight and review of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Payroll oversight & review
- Preparation of the balance sheet
- Act as key point of contact for auditors
- Manage monthly and quarterly VAT returns
- Lead payment runs
- Work closely with project teams and clients on financial queries
- Revenue recognition
- Support with the production of profitability reports, margin analysis and commercial insights
- Maintain financial systems including Xero
- Support ongoing finance process improvements
Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience within an SME or agency/creative environment is beneficial
- Confident preparing for audit and managing external stakeholders
- Strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally
- Available quickly (Predicted start date 5th-9th March)
