We are seeking highly motivated, skilled Interim Discipline Managers to support Childrens Disability Network Teams.A number of Specified Purpose contract vacancies exist with an -initial duration period of 12 months.

Arising from this competition, a panel may be formed from which future vacancies may be filled.

These posts will be located in the following areas:

(1)West/Midwest (working with teams in Limerick, Nenagh and Galway) Based at one of the service locations

Occupational Therapy Manager

Physiotherapy Manager

Speech and Language Therapy Manager

(2) Dublin South/South East (working with teams in Dublin South, Wicklow and Kilkenny) Based at one of the service locations

(3) Dubin West/Dublin Northeast (working with teams in Kildare, Tallaght, Ballyboden, Meath and Cavan) Based at one of the service locations

Physiotherapy Manager

Speech and Language Therapy Manager

(4)South /South West (working with teams in Cork and Kerry) Based at one of the service locations

Contract Hours: 35

Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days

Overview of the Post:

Working closely with the CDNM, the Interim Discipline Manager will provide discipline specific clinical and professional leadership, support and guidance to relevant staff across the assigned Childrens Disability network teams. They will be responsible for the delivery and development of a high quality, integrated and effective service within the discipline, working in an interdisciplinary service model, ensuring that professional standards are maintained.

The successful candidate will have

Registration, or be eligible for registration, in the relevant discipline by the discipline Registration Board at CORU or as relevant

5 years full time (or an aggregate of 5 years full time) post qualification experience

The requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office

Proof of Statutory Registration on the relevant discipline Register maintained by the relevant discipline Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued
