Interim Directorate Manager - Cardiology

Daily rate: Band 8a / 8b depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months initially
Location: Northern Home Counties

• This post will provide general operational management and business support to the cardiology department.
• Taking on specific projects for the cardiology division and deputising for the DM at meetings.
• Oversee the day-to-day business management of the cardiology service.
• Manage Laboratories, diagnostics, 18 weeks RTT and fast track clinics.
• Provide strong and effective leadership to specific clinical and non-clinical teams and individuals.
• Support the establishment of a clear vision for these specific work areas with senior colleagues to create a working environment that empowers staff to achieve optimal performance.
• Contribute to the wider management of the directorate and of the Trust on specific projects and transformation as and when appropriate.
