This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Intensive Family Support Service as an Intensive Family Coordinator during an exciting stage of development; with new opportunities to shape and influence support for children and families.

We are currently developing our new edge of care and returning home offer, to help children remain safely within their family networks wherever possible and to support children to return home from care when it is safe and appropriate to do so. This innovative service will play a key role in delivering meaningful outcomes for children and families through strengths based, relational and solution focused practice.

The Job

• You will work alongside a small number of families who are experiencing significant challenges. The family's allocated key worker will remain involved, allowing you to focus on delivering intensive, purposeful and creative interventions that help families achieve sustainable change.
• Working collaboratively with a range of partners families will receive coordinated, holistic support that strengthens family relationships, reduces the risk of family breakdown, and creates opportunities for children to remain safely at home or return home.

• The role involves spending significant time with families in their homes and local communities. You will visit families several times each week, enabling you to build strong relationships, gain a deeper understanding of family dynamics, and identify solutions that build on strengths, and support lasting positive outcomes.
• As we work closely with children, young people and families, flexibility is essential. Support will be delivered at the times families need it most, which may include evenings, weekends and occasional public holidays. In return, you will be part of a committed and supportive team that is passionate about helping families to succeed and achieving the very best outcomes for children.

• Has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, outcome-focused interventions that improve the lives of children and families.
• Is adaptable, creative and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of children and families.

• Embraces learning and development and is keen to contribute to a positive learning culture within a developing service.
