Job Description
Intelligence Analyst Job Description As an intelligence analyst within the Intelligence and Security of Territory Brigade (BRST) of the Vaud Cantonal Police (PCV), you will ensure the monitoring of priorities, overall overview related to the fields of LRens (terrorism, espionage, extremism). You will carry out criminal analyses and develop new means in your areas of competence, contributing to a public service committed to the safety and maintenance of social cohesion. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and ensure the quality of intelligence processing processes. Handle LRens related to your specific skills. Participate in large-scale projects for the benefit of the PCV in your fields. Collaborate with investigators from the Cantonal Intelligence Service (SRCa), and possibly from the BRST, to track geopolitical trends. Set up and update exchange processes with partner entities, within the framework of LRens (services, and reports originating from the Intelligence Service (SRC), and draft related summary reports. Prepare, conduct, and deliver training for police officers and external professionals regarding the tools and processes related to LRens. Perform standby services and missions according to schedules and constraints related to activity. Qualifications in one or more fields useful to the function (School of Criminal Sciences, etc.). CAS, DAS, MAS, relevant to the function, ACO level 2 or be willing to undergo level 2 cyber investigator training or be ready to follow it. Professional experience related to the job requirements (6 years). Excellent knowledge in the CYBER field and OSINT research and good understanding of tools related to criminal analysis (ACO). Good knowledge of another language and/or hold a B driver's license. Swiss or currently in the process of obtaining it.
