Responsibilities

Roxbury Treatment Center is currently hiring full-time Intake Counselors to work in our admissions department.

Shift available -Overnights are (5) eight-hour shifts per week. Per Diem Staff also needed for all shifts.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus Offered for Full-Time Hires

Job Role/Responsibilities:
  • The Intake Counselor, under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, interviews and assesses potential patients and inquiry callers.
  • The Intake Counselor works with the Business Office regarding patient financial data, as well as with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted.
  • Also initiates the referral and admission process by determining appropriate level of care needs in conjunction with the physician/provider.
  • The Intake Counselor is also responsible for initiating and maintaining communication with referral sources.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., is a 112 bed behavioral health facility offering acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults and an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages .

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or another related Human Services field required - OR - Registered Nurse,

Experience: 2-3 years in the area of substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs, including experience in intake/admissions and managed care preferred.

License: License is not required unless candidate is a nurse, then an active nursing license in the State of Pennsylvania is required.
