About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Technician to join a growing insurance team in Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent role suited to someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a keen interest in developing a career within the insurance sector.
You'll be joining a vibrant, supportive team environment where you will receive full training and ongoing development. The role offers the chance to build a strong technical foundation in insurance operations, while contributing to the smooth delivery of services for a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Input and maintain accurate insurance data across internal systems
Arrange payments to London Market insurers in line with agreed processes
Create and issue invoices
Ensure records and documentation are completed to a high standard
Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to support smooth operational delivery
Learn and apply insurance processes and best practices through on-the-job training
Candidate Requirements
Essential
Minimum of 3 A Levels (or equivalent in any subject)
GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, Grade 4/C or above
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage own workload
Proactive and detail-focused approach
Desirable
Previous administrative or data entry experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
A genuine interest in pursuing a career within insurance or financial services
