Job Description

What skills and experience we're looking for We are looking for a passionate and Inspiring Art Teacher to join our talented, creative and highly skilled Art department.

In recent years we have invested significantly in curriculum development across KS3, building a programme that reinforces key skills and conceptual understanding whilst ensuring diverse and representative content sits at its heart.

  • we achieve excellent results at both GCSE and A Level, and we are looking for someone who will contribute to sustaining and building on that success.

You will be an experienced or early-career Art teacher with a strong subject specialism and, ideally, some experience of textiles.

You will have a commanding yet warm classroom presence and a genuine ability to inspire reluctant learners to engage with and enjoy creative work.

You are someone who goes above and beyond

  • whether that's running an enrichment activity, staging an exhibition, or supporting a student discovering a medium for the first time.

You bring a positive, detail-oriented approach to your work and are a natural collaborator and team player who understands the importance of consistency, shared standards, and collective ambition.
