SolydEra SA is a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) committed to high-tech electro-ceramics for green energy and gas conversion, with a particular focus on solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolysis (SOE). SolydEra SA collaborates with numerous industrial and academic partners to develop cost-competitive energy conversion devices.Process EngineerThe OpportunityWe are looking for a Process Engineer to play a central role in the development, structuring, and deployment of advanced process and machine engineering solutions. This position is at the crossroads of process design, safety system engineering, and project execution. You will be involved from initial studies through commissioning, with a high level of technical ownership. You will be part of the Swiss team responsible for the development of industrial fuel cell modules for hydrogen and fuel cells.Responsibilities- Engineering frameworks and standards - Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the internal engineering development framework. - Process and machine engineering - Support the design team with process analysis. - Contribute actively to core process and machine engineering activities. - Develop and maintain process and equipment PFDs and P&IDs. - Prepare customer documentation for the systems. - Supervise safety studies covering process and machinery safety.- Projects, customers, and commissioning - Engineer and lead the commissioning of SolydEra modules with auxiliary equipment and participate in technical reviews and project-level HAZOP sessions with customers. - Structure, manage, and maintain project engineering and supervise commissioning activities. - Provide on-site technical support during system start-up and processes and interactions with Notified Bodies.- Business and technology development - Support early-stage technical discussions with customers. - Perform process studies and plot plans. - Conduct feasibility studies in collaboration with engineering.Profile- Degree in Process Engineering or a closely related discipline.- Significant experience in process engineering with expertise in PFD and P&ID methodologies and safety standards.- Proven experience in process safety and risk analysis methodologies such as HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, and machine and system processes.- Ability to work autonomously in a structured manner while effectively collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.- Technical skills with a quality- and safety-oriented mindset.- Experience with fuel cell technologies is a plus. jid91b0e22aen jit0310aen jpiy26aen
