Job Title: Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer
Location: Midlands
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) (Requirements for on call weekend work - Rotation)
Salary: £29,911.20 + Company Vehicle
Job Summary: This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of Airband's network infrastructure. Reporting to Infrastructure Team Leader you will be responsible for maintenance and servicing of the network infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Maintenance of Airband's fixed wireless access (FWA) sites and fibre cabinets; ensure trees, bushes and associated foliage are cut back and sites are accessible and safe for engineering staff.
- Build and repair fences as required to keep livestock at a distance from cabinets or masts.
- Assist the infrastructure team with outages and daily workflow; survey, installation and maintenance of cabinet infrastructure where required.
- Read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets required to install equipment.
- Work in accordance with Airband H&S policies and within HSE guidelines; use safety equipment and demonstrate procedures to team members.
- Follow Airband ethos and model it to the team.
- Record activities using Airband systems such as Salesforce.
- General access maintenance skills
- Ability to communicate and record daily tasks
- Ability to communicate and record site safety-critical information
- Understanding of the infrastructure portfolio
- Must be comfortable working at heights (including rooftops)
