IT Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Leeds Salary: £34,000 - £37,500 a year Full Time 35 Hours Permanent

BW Legal is an award-winning law firm with a strong focus on technology and innovation. We're investing in our infrastructure and looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT Operations Team.
The role
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or cloud engineering. You'll work across a wide range of technologies and play a key role in:
- System upgrades and platform migrations
- Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
- Network and server management
- Security and patching
- Project delivery and technical support
Key responsibilities
- Support Microsoft-based infrastructure and business applications.
- Manage LAN/WAN networks, routers, and firewalls (Meraki, SonicWALL)
- Maintain and evolve our Azure cloud platform and Citrix environment
- Lead infrastructure projects and implement new technologies
- Monitor systems and respond to alerts
- Maintain network and endpoint security
- Participate in a paid on-call rota and monthly patching (paid as overtime)
What we're looking for
You'll have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, along with the following skills:
- Windows Server (2022/2025), Windows 11, Active Directory
- Microsoft Azure, VMware, Kubernetes
- Networking (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls)
- Linux (Ubuntu), SQL Server (2022), MS Exchange (2019)
- Dell PowerStore or similar storage solutions

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
- Occasional out-of-hours support (paid overtime)
- Monthly Sunday patching (paid overtime)
