Infrastructure Engineer - Field based

Enjoy infrastructure but don't want to spend every day sitting behind a desk?
We're recruiting an Infrastructure Engineer to support my clients technology infrastructure across a number of sites throughout England. Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire and Cambridgeshire. You'll be out in the field providing practical, hands-on support, installing and replacing equipment, diagnosing faults and ensuring infrastructure issues are resolved effectively.

You'll be responsible for:
On-site infrastructure and hardware support
Installation and replacement of IT equipment
Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and repairs
Supporting infrastructure changes across multiple sites
Working directly with users and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
This could be a great fit if you're currently working as an Infrastructure Engineer, Field Engineer, IT Support Engineer or 1st/2nd Line Engineer and enjoy the practical side of IT.

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone with a strong infrastructure, field engineering or 1st/2nd line support background who is practical, technically confident and comfortable working independently.
Regular travel is a key part of the role, so you'll need to be happy working across different company locations.
