We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Build Manager to lead a hands on build team at a global engineering firm based near Rugby. The role involves managing the build and deployment of infrastructure, leading a team of senior engineers, and ensuring delivery of high quality infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Line management of the build infrastructure team
• Manage the build and deployment of all aspects of the infrastructure, including the build and delivery systems/processes
• Develop and maintain accurate capacity plans for core IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with other IT departments and maintain consistent information flow
• Proactively improve processes and procedures for greater efficiency
• Stakeholder management
• Ensure all solutions are documented and successfully transitioned into service
• Provide technical support to different teams within the IT organization

Technical environment: Linux, Windows, Exchange, VMware, Virtualisation, Cloud, Data Centre, ITIL.

Qualifications:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role within infrastructure teams
• Strong technical background in Linux and Windows environments, as well as VMware and cloud platforms
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high performing teams
• Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects on time and within scope
