Overview:

Protiviti is looking for a freelance Business IT Analyst to support a range of logistical and financial process improvement initiatives for their client, an international FMCG company.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain and finance operations, as well as the ability to translate complex business needs into practical IT solutions. You will collaborate closely with business process owners, functional consultants, and service delivery teams, contributing to both project delivery and service management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize business processes, particularly within logistics, finance, and quality domains
• Translate business requirements into functional IT solutions (primarily SAP ECC)
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, with a strong understanding of change and project management
• Lead or contribute to IT-related projects across the supply chain domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Manage service delivery processes including incident, problem, change, and release management (ITIL-based)
• Support end-to-end process improvement initiatives and monitor system performance
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Build strong internal partnerships to support continuous improvement and system adoption

Ideal Candidate:

• 5-10 years' experience in FMCG or similar industry, focused on business/IT process analysis and optimization
• Strong understanding of logistics and financial processes; additional knowledge in relation management or quality control is a plus
• Proven experience working with SAP systems (ECC, BW, PO)
• Familiarity with Cooperative Affairs or upstream dairy/agriculture processes is a plus
• Hands-on project management and change management capabilities
• HBO or academic degree (or equivalent working/thinking level)
• Fluent in both Dutch and English
• Strong interpersonal, planning, and communication skills
• Proactive, structured, and flexible mindset; capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
