Information Technology Auditor

IT Audit Consultant - 6+ Months (extension expected) - Amsterdam - Hybrid (2-3 days on-site)

Our client needs your help! We are looking for an experienced IT Audit Consultant to support the rollout of a company-wide integrated control framework. The goal is to unify multiple compliance programmes into one streamlined approach covering frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, NIS2, financial audits, and sector-specific standards. If you have experience in IT audits and know how to drive complex control implementations in large organisations, this could be your next assignment.

Required Experience:

• IT audit background (Audit firm or internal audit roles in large enterprises)
• Proven experience implementing IT controls in complex corporate environments
• Familiarity with integrated control frameworks and multiple compliance domains (SOC2, ISO27001, NIS2, financial audit, sector regulations)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead planning, coordination, and execution of control implementations
• Fluent in both Dutch and English

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of new integrated controls in high-impact business and IT processes
• Develop rollout plans, templates, and good practice documentation
• Deliver training and guidance for security and compliance officers
• Facilitate workshops with control executors and control owners
• Provide advice on control evidence and documentation requirements
• Identify and propose opportunities for control automation and dashboarding
• Monitor and report on implementation progress to programme leadership

Good to Have:

• Experience in telecom, infrastructure, or highly regulated environments
• Knowledge of national or sector-specific frameworks (e.g., RVIT, NIS2)
• Familiarity with automation and GRC tooling
• Consultancy background with a hands-on approach
