Industrial Spray Painter

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Langar, Nottinghamshire.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand, our client is looking for Skilled and Semi-Skilled Industrial Spray Painters to join their experienced production team.

Please note: The site is located in Langar, where public transport is limited, so own transport is essential. This role operates on a rotating two-shift pattern, so applicants must be able to work both day and late shifts.

The Role

You will be responsible for applying protective finishes to fabricated steel using a range of specialist airless spraying equipment.

Experience with any of the following is beneficial:

• Wiwa/Graco Single Leg Airless Pumps
• Wiwa Dual Mix FX6002 Pumps
• Graco Tri Mix XM Firetex Platinum 120

Training will be provided where required.

You'll be applying:

• Intumescent materials
• Two-pack primers
• Industrial paint systems

Working Hours

This position operates on a rotating two-shift pattern, and you will be required to work both of the following shifts:

Day Shift

Monday to Friday

7:00am - 3:15pm

Late Shift

Monday to Thursday

3:15pm - 1:30am

Overtime Available

Regular overtime is available:

Saturday: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Sunday: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Pay & Benefits

• Weekend overtime paid at £180 per 9-hour shift

What We're Looking For

• Previous industrial spray painting experience preferred
• Experience with intumescent materials or two-pack paint systems is advantageous
• Forklift Truck and Overhead Crane certificates are desirable but not essential
• Ability to work a rotating day and late shift pattern
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• Own transport is essential due to the site's location
