Field Electrical Instrumentations Technician (For Onsite Industrial & Water Utilities Customers) Kildare, South Dublin, Dublin City Region
Role: An Industrial Electrician with Electro-mechanical, Instrumentation, and/or water plants experience would be ideal; however, full training is provided (on industrial valves, pumps, and motors)
Salary & Benefits- Salary & Benefits: Based on a typical 45-hour week (including fully paid travel time), Realistic Gross Annual Earnings: between€68,000-€78,000 Gross +Company Van (Package outlined in detail at the end of this job spec)

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician to develop specialist instrumentation skills, supported by experienced engineers and ongoing technical training.

This is a field-based Industrial & Water Plant, Electrical Service & Repair role, combining fault finding, preventative maintenance, instrumentation calibration and customer support across the Southern Leinster region.
- Carry out electrical fault finding, maintenance and servicing on industrial motors, pumps, booster sets, control panels and instrumentation equipment.
- Calibrate, test and commission instrumentation, ensuring customers' equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Support customers, responding to both planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
- Build strong customer relationships, becoming the trusted face of your employer across your territory.
- Work independently while managing your own daily schedule, with full technical support available from experienced engineers, especially in the first few months.
- Complete electronic service reports and maintain accurate job records using the company laptop.
- Receive extensive training in instrumentation, industrial process systems and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Over time, develop specialist expertise across motors, pumps, VSDs, instrumentation and industrial control systems, creating excellent long-term career opportunities.
- Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 2 to 10+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience working within water, wastewater, utilities, process plants, pumps or industrial control systems would be a significant advantage.
- Industrial electrical maintenance, electrical fitting, electro-mechanical services, manufacturing or industrial process environments is highly desirable.
- Previous instrumentation experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.
- Excellent electrical fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
- Friendly, customer-focused and professional when dealing directly with customers.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently across multiple customer sites.
- Strong communication, organisation and record-keeping skills.
- Flexible attitude with a strong commitment to Health & Safety.
- Ambition to continue learning and develop specialist instrumentation skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Permanent Role with a Good Hourly rate + overtime (time and a half and double)
- Paid travel time from the moment you leave home until you return home.
- Typical working week up to 45 hours per week,including travel time to sites
