People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner to join our well-established client based in Dukinfield, SK16. This is a fantastic opportunity offering genuine long-term work and career progression.

Shifts

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 16:00• Friday: 06:00 - 14:00

Rates of Pay

• £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an Industrial Cleaner, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Cleaning and sanitising industrial areas, including warehouse floors, machinery, and equipment• Operating industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers• Removing waste and disposing of materials safely and correctly• Ensuring walkways and working areas are kept clear and hazard-free• Carrying out deep cleaning tasks as required• Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting low stock levels• Following all health and safety regulations at all times• Using cleaning chemicals safely in line with COSHH guidelines• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site

Essential Skills

To be successful as an Industrial Cleaner, you will need:

• A basic level of English (spoken and written)• Excellent reliability and punctuality• Good communication skills• The ability to work independently and as part of a team• A positive and proactive attitude• Strong attention to detail

Desirable Experience

• Previous industrial cleaning experience• Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment• Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH

Training Provided

• Full training provided• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
