About the Role:

1. Provide tailored 1:1 support to help a child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
2. Assist with communication strategies, including BSL, Makaton, or other AAC methods.
3. Implement individual learning strategies in line with the child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
4. Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to adapt learning activities.
5. Encourage independence while offering reassurance and guidance.
6. Track progress and share key insights with the wider school team and parents.
7. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment, following safeguarding policies.
