Job Description

The MSCI Index coverage team is part of the OneMSCI coverage team, with the primary objective of developing solutions for asset managers (primarily ETFs & Passive Funds) linked to the MSCI Index ecosystem. The team develops, analyzes, and commercializes themes by helping clients identify suitable MSCI-linked indices.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will primarily work with Asset Managers in the EMEA region, focusing on promoting MSCI's intellectual property (IP). You will interact with CIOs, Portfolio Managers, Fund Selectors, Portfolio Construction, and Quantitative/Research & Strategy Teams. The role covers a broad spectrum of indexes across Equity and Fixed Income, including Sector, Factor, Emerging Markets, and ESG indexes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Promote MSCI's indices and grow the ABF business.
  2. Engage with Wealth Managers, Private Banks, and Asset Managers in EMEA.
  3. Manage relationships with clients effectively.
  4. Promote the OneMSCI agenda, requiring a broad skill set across index, analytics, products, and portfolio implementation.
  5. Maintain strong knowledge of financial derivatives and the lifecycle of financial products.
  6. Build and sustain solid relationships with MSCI internal stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of financial derivatives.
  • Deep understanding of the lifecycle of financial products.
  • Ability to promote MSCI's indices and expand the ABF business.
  • Experience working with Wealth Managers, Private Banks, and Asset Managers in EMEA.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Capability to promote the OneMSCI initiative across various skill areas.
