Independent NI Fiscal Council Member (5-year term)

Northern Ireland Fiscal Council is seeking up to three new members to serve a five-year term, with appointments made by the Finance Minister. Members are chosen for independence and expertise and must commit up to 30 days per year.

The Council provides independent scrutiny of public finances and informs budget policy. The role requires engagement with Assembly Committees, public debate and speaking at events on fiscal matters. Remuneration is £390 per day and the appointment is non-pensionable.
