Inclusion Officer

Hours: 22 hours per week during term time plus five days.

Salary: £16,308.82 to £17,139.34.

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Job Overview

Do you have a passion for inclusion practices and are committed to ensuring every student, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), receives fully inclusive support? As the Inclusion Officer, you will ensure the academy strictly adheres to the SEND Code of Practice, leading the creation, monitoring, and review of tailored intervention plans (Wave 1, 2, and 3) to maximise the progress of vulnerable and disadvantaged students. This role involves complex administrative oversight, staff deployment, and direct student work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the academy strictly adheres to the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Lead the creation, monitoring, and review of tailored intervention plans (Wave 1, 2, and 3) to maximise the progress of vulnerable and disadvantaged students.
  • Oversee complex administrative tasks, staff deployment, and direct student work for year groups 7 to 9.
  • Coordinate and support continuous professional development for staff to enhance inclusion.
Working Conditions

This role is a permanent job share. The working days for this role are flexible and will be discussed further at interview.
