This is a full time position at Haymoor Junior School, comprising a 0.6 Inclusion Lead responsibility and a 0.4 teacher commitment in Year 6. The role will support the Head of Inclusion and SEND and may involve working in any of the Trust's schools.
Responsibilities- Provide inclusion leadership within the Junior School.
- Collaborate with the Head of Inclusion and SEND to plan and deliver inclusive strategies.
- Work as a Year 6 teacher within standard teacher hours.
- Plan and contribute to the wider school's curriculum and assessment with an awareness of SEN needs.
- Support, mentor and develop staff in inclusive practice.
- Qualified and experienced primary phase teacher.
- Knowledge and experience of working with SEN and vulnerable pupils.
- Working towards or holding a recognised NPQ qualification.
- Leadership in SEN/inclusion is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a positive, energy driven approach.
