Job Description

Role: Inclusion Administrator

Start Date: 01/09/2026

Salary (Actual Salary): £19,286

Working Pattern: 32.5 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only plus 5 days

Are you an administrative specialist ready to provide essential clerical support for our students' learning journey? Join us as an Inclusion Administrator, where your precise organizational skills will directly impact the effectiveness of the Inclusion Team. This role is vital for maintaining accurate student records, coordinating complex documentation, and ensuring that staff have the crucial information needed to support vulnerable students.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the meticulous management of all inclusion-related administrative systems, including updating and maintaining the SEN and Vulnerable Registers. Key duties involve comprehensive support for review meetings: collating staff reports, completing pro-formas, and attending meetings to accurately take and circulate minutes.

You will manage tracking and reporting on the impact of interventions and handle routine correspondence and telephone liaison with parents and external professional agencies. Furthermore, you will provide administrative support for exam access arrangement processes and invigilate students with access arrangements.

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate considerable experience working in an office environment. Essential skills include the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences and the capacity to accurately minute meetings.

We require excellent time management and organisation skills, proficiency in standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office, and the crucial ability to respect and maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate must be able to relate sympathetically to students and recognise potential child safeguarding issues.

Benefits

We offer a supportive package focusing on professional advancement, secure benefits, and work-life balance:

  • Secure Pay & Pension: Competitive salary, automatic pay progression, and enrolment in the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Training & Progression: Access to diverse CPD opportunities, including apprenticeships and vocational qualifications.
  • Flexibility & Leave: Flexible family policies, enhanced occupational benefits (with no qualifying period), and 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays for non-term time staff. (Holiday for part-time staff is calculated on a pro-rata basis)
  • Wellbeing & Perks: Dedicated mental well-being strategy, free on-site parking, employee discounts, and access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme.
