About the Role

Hours per week: 06:00 to 12:00

We're recruiting for an In Store Cleaning Manager to join our Cleaning team. You'll oversee all cleaning and associated duties carried out by your team ensuring a high standard is consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist with cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
  • Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, absence management, informal performance management and support recruitment of new employees when required.
  • Complete site audits weekly ensuring any required actions are documented and completed promptly.
  • Identify training needs on site; conduct coaching/training including Health & Safety, keeping records.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Support the Area Manager with investigation matters such as personal accidents or potential formal performance management.
  • Monitor cleaning product levels, maintain stock and submit orders within site budgets.
  • Digital Access Requirements: This role involves using digital tools to manage working hours, absences and payslips. Applicants should have access to a smart phone for work related apps such as Timegate+ and an email address for communication and portal access. If you do not have access, support or reasonable adjustments can be provided.
Ideal Candidate
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in cleaning or a similar field.
  • Experience in staffing, rotas, training and basic HR compliance.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and be flexible with working hours and days.
