In-house Pensions opportunity

Rare opportunity to move in-house. Offers a varied role working across funding, valuation, governance, strategic projects and de risking activity, helping shape the future direction of a major pension scheme while working alongside an experienced actuarial leadership team.

Location: London. 3 days per week in office.

Responsibilities

• Provide funding analysis for the pension scheme.
• Conduct valuations and maintain valuation models.
• Support governance functions and compliance.
• Lead and coordinate strategic projects.
• Engage in de risking activity to manage pension liabilities.
• Communicate with stakeholders and present findings.

Qualifications

• Part or qualified pensions actuary (or equivalent). Strong exam stoppers will be considered.
• Combination of DB pensions knowledge, project delivery and stakeholder management skills.
• Valuations experience and strong understanding of long term funding strategy.
• Exposure to buy ins, de risking activity or complex pension projects is advantageous.
• Strong communicator capable of engaging effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Ability to hit the ground running and demonstrate project management skills.
