Job Description
The In-house Employment Lawyer will be:
- Leading contentious employment litigation and tribunal representation
- Advising on non contentious matters: restructures, policies, TUPE, redundancy
- Supporting HR on investigations, disciplinary processes, and settlement agreements
- Monitoring and advising on employment and people-related regulatory changes
- Coaching internal stakeholders and delivering training sessions as needed
The Successful Applicant
The In-house Employment Lawyer should be:
- A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years PQE in employment law
- Skilled in both contentious and non contentious employment matters
- Experienced with FS regulatory frameworks (e.g., SMCR, FCA/PRA)
- A clear communicator with strong negotiation and influencing capabilities
- Comfortable working in-house within a complex, collaborative legal function
