The Opportunity

This position will be located in North UK . The APOC UKI division focuses on providing point-of-care diagnostic solutions to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare processes.

As the Implementation Specialist UKI, you'll have the chance to support the relevant geographic Commercial Team during the evaluation of Abbott Point of Care products, providing both tactical support, training, and effective management of the evaluation process. You'll manage operations, collaborate with the local Commercial Team and the Abbott Point of Care Marketing Department, and support the installation and implementation of Abbott Point of Care products.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure timely account implementations within established guidelines

  • Coordinate and execute all phases of implementation for successful Point of Care Testing Programs

  • Provide effective, appropriate, and timely communication to customers and internal teams

  • Offer first-line support and installation of Abbott Point of Care networked products

  • Introduce new products into existing accounts and expand usage of existing products

  • Provide field-based education and support to new Abbott Point of Care employees

  • Maintain knowledge of relevant healthcare markets and current Abbott Point of Care products

  • Design and execute correlation studies with APOC products

  • Manage customer complaints and field actions as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Appropriate relevant healthcare experience (e.g., Medical Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, Point of Care Coordinator)

  • Degree level education

  • Experience in project or programme management

  • Experience in protocol design and implementation

  • Experience presenting in a clinical healthcare environment

  • Comprehensive knowledge of critical care or laboratory environment and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Outstanding project management skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

  • Basic knowledge of networking and computer interfacing

  • Competence in local language and good command of both written and spoken English
