PositionAn opportunity has arisen for a permanent Immunisation Staff Nurse within our Children and Families Health Team based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will doYou will work as part of the Children and Families Health Team, based within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. You will participate and support the delivery of the children/young people Immunisation Programme within GP Premises, Community and Educational establishments in line with the Public Health agenda.
You will deliver Immunisation services, ensuring high quality patient centred provision which is responsive to personal and local need.
You will provide high quality nursing care / support and advice to children and young people, their parents/carers.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required- Registered Nurse
- Driving Licence and Car Owner
- Demonstration of communication skills
- Demonstration of Organisational and motivational skills
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team promoting integrated nursing approaches
- Experience of working with children and families
- Community experience desired
30 hours worked Monday-Friday. Compressed hours may be considered.
Full UK Driving Licence/Access to a VehicleFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
