Job Description

The firm is a boutique and well-established immigration law practice based in Southall, recognized for expertise in Immigration and Nationality law.

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Caseworker / Paralegal / Solicitor to join the team. The role involves handling a broad range of immigration matters from initial application to decision challenges and supporting senior solicitors.

Responsibilities
  • Handle all aspects of immigration law including Skilled Worker, Spouse, Family, Citizenship, ILR, Appeals, Entry Clearance, Sponsor Licence, and Private Life applications.
  • Assist senior solicitors and caseworkers with immigration caseload.
  • Manage and progress own caseload, preparing applications, completing relevant forms, drafting cover letters and witness statements.
  • Attend clients and assist with cases.
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and other authorities.
  • Perform administrative tasks and supporting duties such as reception and phone call handling.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Experience in immigration law, completing various types of immigration applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of immigration rules and common issues.
  • Ability to handle own immigration caseload.
  • Able to work independently and under supervision.
  • Self sufficient, highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent communication in Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu.
  • IT literate, proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Highly organised and able to manage a full workload.
  • Professional, personable, and efficient.
  • Preferably a law graduate and/or completed LPC or OISC accredited previously.
Salary & Benefits

Full-time: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday.
Experience Required
  • Immigration law: 1 year (required).
