Job Description
Overview 
We are seeking a skilled Functional Architect / Business Analyst to support our client in integrating a new smart metering platform with their current version of IFS. This role involves a blend of business analysis and IFS configuration activities to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality.
ResponsibilitiesFor a client engagement:
- Business Analysis:
- Attend workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document the current processes and requirements.
- Map out the necessary changes in IFS to accommodate the new smart metering platform.
- Develop detailed process maps, user stories, and requirements documentation.
- IFS Configuration:
- Configure IFS to enable the required changes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Customize IFS modules to support new functionalities and workflows.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure successful implementation.
- User and Organisational Setup:
- Set up new users, teams, and organisational structures within IFS.
- Ensure proper access controls and permissions are in place.
- Provide training and support to new users on IFS functionalities
For Expleo:
- Network and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including Operations, Sales and Client Success Partners
- Identify opportunities for business development with the client
- Comply with Expleo Delivery governance related to sharing client knowledge and relationship management, reporting, raising issues, as well as capturing learning and case studies for clients
- Share your knowledge and experience with other team members
- Support team success and motivate others to keep morale and performance high
- BCS Business Analysis International Diploma (or equivalent)
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- Eliciting and managing requirements
- Problem analysis and operational excellence
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrable experience of delivering change using technology and soft skills
- Advanced MS Excel ability and working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Visio (or similar process modelling tool) and MS Word
- Self-management, the ability to plan and organise your work to align with the client's plan or milestone dates, by setting quantified goals and working to defined standards
- Proven experience as a Functional Architect or Business Analyst, preferably with IFS.
- Strong understanding of IFS configuration and customization.
- Experience with smart metering platforms and their integration with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for ERP implementation and configuration.
- Consulting experience an advantage
- To be flexible to travel to, and work at, client sites across the UK as required
