Job Description

Identity Solution Engineer - Contract
Location: Wiltshire (full-time on-site)
Rate: Up to £570 per day Inside IR35
Duration: 6 months
Clearance: Active DV required (sole UK nationals only)

We're seeking an Identity Solution Engineer to deliver a greenfield, on-prem Microsoft identity platform within a highly secure environment. You'll collaborate with architects and technical teams to implement, harden, and support core identity services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, and ADFS
  • Configure federation, SSO, and RBAC
  • Integrate with infrastructure and security teams
  • Maintain documentation, resolve incidents, and optimise performance
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven Identity/Infrastructure/Systems Engineer background (Microsoft stack)
  • Expertise in AD/ADFS, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and VMware/private cloud
  • Must hold active, transferable DV clearance and be a sole UK national
Desirable
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator (or equivalent)
  • PowerShell automation and Scripting
  • Monitoring and hybrid identity experience
