Job Description
Identity & Privileged Access Management (PAM) Product Owner

Role Summary: Seeking an experienced Identity & Privileged Access Management (IAM/PAM) Product Owner to lead the delivery of strategic access management and privileged account controls across a complex enterprise environment. The successful contractor will own the PAM roadmap, coordinate stakeholders, and drive implementation of key security capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and prioritise the IAM/PAM product backlog and roadmap.
  • Define requirements and work with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver PAM capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of privileged access controls, MFA, RBAC, and identity governance processes.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and delivery partners.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise IAM and PAM programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, Entra ID, SailPoint, Saviynt, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or IAM/PAM Lead.
  • Strong stakeholder management and Agile delivery experience.
  • Knowledge of identity governance, privileged access, MFA, SSO, and access lifecycle management.
Key Deliverables
  • PAM product roadmap and prioritised backlog.
  • Discovery and onboarding of privileged accounts and service accounts.
  • Implementation and optimisation of credential vaulting and password rotation.
  • Rollout of Just-In-Time (JIT) and privileged session management capabilities.
  • Improved Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes and access governance controls.
  • Delivery of MFA and privileged access policy enhancements.
  • Executive reporting dashboard covering PAM adoption, risk reduction, and compliance metrics.
  • Closure of audit findings and remediation of access-related control gaps.
  • Documented operating model, processes, and knowledge transfer to BAU teams.
